The selection and recruitment at Chambal is a structured process and starts once a position is formally approved by the relevant authority.
Entry level recruitment for management staff is normally as a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) or Executive Trainee (ET) or Management Trainee (MT). This is typically done through campus interviews from reputed and recognised institutes. The recruitees are trained in different departments for a period of one year.
Existing employees are assessed along with external applicants so that quality and benchmarking is uniform and in line with the prevailing high standards; and other things being equal, preference is given to internal candidates. This also results in overall development and leads to a culture of development of professionals which are groomed to meet the needs of the organization coupled with the growth of the individuals.

Our Performance Management Systems helps in maintaining our position by ensuring constant learning and development of our employees by keeping them abreast with the ever changing environment. An aggressive Training Schedule is identified for all individuals based on a vigorous assessment carried out over the year- each year leading to an overall development. The training focus is on Technical as well as soft skills.
